Check whether pdfs are used or not?

    Hi,

    I’ve inherited management of a WordPress site which has numerous folders containing hundreds of old pdfs.

    Unfortunately these are all outside /wp-content/uploads/ and not uploaded via WP.

    Is there any way to find out what of these pdfs are actually linked on the site and hence still used?

    Try a google search. Something like “site:example.com inurl:pdf” will get you a list of the used PDFs.
