That’s not a solution.

It should be possible to display checkbox horizontally in more than one row, and still have the boxed aligned under each other.

You have created a great addon, however this being able to align the boxes is essential, if the forms are to look good also.

The checkbox widget don’t have the option like multicolumn as you mentioned in the screenshot. But you can do that layout with our checkbox widget with some tweaking by following this screenshots (https://prnt.sc/ubdpvb, https://prnt.sc/ubdrhb).
