    hi,
i am trying to implement an “opt-in-email” checkbox, but no matter what I get a “false” (or “0”) on salesforce.

I know that the checkbox field in the WP plugin correctly corresponds to the custom field on SF (because while debugging, I tried to convert the SF field type to “text”, and then I saw a textual “0” appearing on the newly created leads on SF). But I can never get a checked field to appear as a “1” or as a checked checkbox on SF.

is anyone reading these posts at all?

    Thanks
    Nir

why doesn’t anybody respond to my bug reports?

I have the same issue. Setting the value to 0 or 1 for a checkbox doesn’t do anything. Always comes in to salesforce unchecked.

they seem to be reluctant to give support (even though this is probably an actual bug, and it’s in their interest to have a working plugin because that’s how they attract clients to their paid outfit “daddy analytics”).

I would be happy with a php function that hacks this, and that I could insert using pluginception

I have good experience with this kind of hacking for another issue with the salesforce plugin, related to obtaining the URL of the form into salesforce. the hack was written by one of the plugin authors (Nick?) and worked well.

unfortunately I dont understand the salesforce plugin code well enough to be able to write such a function myself ??

If I end up solving this i will post it here

It looks like it’s time to switch to gravity forms solution and see if they can populate a checkbox.

What a strange little bug. Probably easy to fix, just need to spend the time to do it.

FYI, this is the form I’m attempting to get working:
    https://succeedms.com/test/

WP Plugin WordPress-to-Lead for Salesforce – this form is very close, but checkboxes do not populate salesforce

Raw Form – This form works but is missing captcha and error checking…

Sorry, but I didn’t realize gravity forms costs $39. Thank you for offering this plugin at no cost, it’s the best solution I’ve found so far. But the checkbox error is holding us back from using it.

I noticed the salesforce checkboxes have some crazy id fields which must be why they are not connecting properly.

Is there a way to connect that id/name to the form?

    Any advice appreciated.
