    With version 1.3.8 and some additional CSS the checkbox was visible.
    The CSS used:
    #commentform p.wpgdprc-checkbox label {
    display: block;
    }

    Since version 1.3.9 the checkbox has disappeared again.

  • I don’t see the WordPress comments checkbox either. I switched from the JetPack comment form as requested and enabled the consent checkbox but it is not showing up. Thanks for any help resolving this issue.

    Same here. Was there in previous versions, but it’s gone now.

    @new_joerg; I can see it’s there again. Fixed?

    It’s the browser! In Chrome I see the checkbox now too. In Firefox the checkbox remains invisible.

    The checkbox works fine in Firefox. Aside from that, if there are any styling issues, you really need to contact your theme developer. There’s not much I can do. Not to be rude. I can help you a little bit with some CSS, like the one in your message. But this is not an issue within the plugin. The plugin adds the necessary checkbox with valid HTML, I can see that works fine. And nothing has been added/changed in the latest updates for the comment checkboxes. It’s really your theme that has to correctly deal with the styling of this checkbox (in all browsers).

    Closing this ticket. Message me when you’re still having troubles after contacting your theme developer.
