Checkbox Issue [checkbox-000] Tag Shows in Email

  • Contact Form 7, Version 5.9

    I’m not sure when this issue started, but I am now seeing that the [checkbox-000] tag appears on the emails that my client receives when someone completes the form but DOES NOT check one of the options (it’s not a required field). Naturally I could require the field, but would prefer not to.

    The field appears regardless of whether or not “Exclude lines with blank mail-tags from output” is checked or unchecked.

    This issue happens now with ALL my clients.

    Any help with this will be appreciated.
