• Hello,

I have spent hours trying to figure out why the results from my checkboxes are not appearing in my emails. I have read the FAQ on the contact form 7 website and read every forum that I could find related to the subject, but I have not been able to find a solution. What am I doing wrong????

This is the code that I am using on the form:

<p> Please select up to 3 roles that your are interested in*
[checkbox* Roles use_label_element “Backstage Attendant” “Greeter/Usher” “Set-up Crew” “Front of House / Reception” “Social Media Coordinator” “Promotions/Marketing” “Public Relations” “Event Coordinator” “General Assistance” “Blogger” “Glam Squad_Makeup Artist” “Glam Squad_Hair Stylist” “Glam Squad_Stylist”] </p>

This is the code that I am using for the email:

Please select up to 3 roles that your are interested in: [Roles]

  • Here’s the fix if you have FTP access or can edit the plugin files:

Edit: my link didn’t show up so it’s my latest thread…weird

    I’ve got the same problem,

Checkbox tags aren’t appearing at emails, nevertheless they show at CF-DB as fields in every register.

I cannot tell, but I suspect the rest of the tags are failing.

I believe it happens after updating de plugin.

    Please, help!

I’m having the same problem, checkbox’s are showing in the email as “Array” not the actual value. This problem occur after the last ver update and rollback didn’t help either. The things we need to deal with instead on focusing on what matters. I hope somebody will find a solution.

    SOLUTION!!!!

There’s a temporary solution, I restored previous version of the plugin files and after a couple of tests with two different forms in my site, everything works ok afterall.

But of course, this is temporary, we need to update the plugin somewhen.

livin4d, can you share how you restored the previous plugin without losing all the information?

Well, you gotta have ftp access and should have access to your backup files too.

That is, if you made an entire copy of your files (e.g. in you HD drive) before updating, copy only the php files of the plugin and paste them to same allocation on your server overwriting with the old files (backup files)the new files(updated)so your plugin will be restored to the previous stage, without any change to any contents.

Wish it works to you as well as to me.

It appears that the new update has resolved this issue.
