Checkboxes being converted to spans

  • On the page I am using two form generators to try to find best one for my case. Below the first on is the contact 7 one. I would prefer to use it because it appears to be more customizable. However whenever I add a checkbox regardless of whether I use the interface or hard code the html it gets to converted to span

    Just under the text “Sunday” there should be a checkbox but it is not displaying. You can see in the html it is actually an empty span.
