Checkboxes Validation Not Complete

    Love using this plugin but, I have noticed that validation of the checkboxes field is not complete. Only ONE checkbox needs to be selected for the user to complete the form even if there are multiple boxes. Might be the nature of the checkbox field itself. But, is there a fix for this?

    Hi @dafshar,

    Sorry, but selecting only one option with the checkbox is impossible. A checkbox allows multiple selections, not just one. If you want the user to choose only one option, use a radio button field instead.

    Thx for the response. I understand the nature of the two field types. My question is centered around the fact that I have set a checkboxes field to REQUIRES and would like all 3 checkboxes to be checked before submitting the form.

    So, even though I have the 3 checkboxes set to REQUIRED, a user can continue the form by only selecting 1 checkbox. The other 2 don’t seem to be REQUIRED. So, assuming this is a bug or just the nature of checkboxes, should I use 3 separate radio button fields and make them all REQUIRED? That seems laborious but the only solution?

    Hi @dafshar,

    If you want to all the checkbox option required then you will need to make separate options. The required option will check one option is checked during the submission.
