Checked the FAQs but getting No category error with free version

Hi there

Im looking for a brand carousel, simple home page, brands sold

Downloaded the free version to check it worked

Created the brands descriptions logos etc (didnt create a brand banner link as Im not sure if it was needed)

I have 24 brands, all linking via woo as affiliate products going to Amazon (looking at other affiliates)

Using Generate Press Premium theme, tried to insert it into the home page and got an error of “No categories”

Ive gone through Woo and added a number of items to some of the brands (I have 9000skus) so have work ahead and dont want to get too far down the road if it isnt going to work for me

Im sure it probably a configuration issue but cannot see anything in the documentation online to tell me what ive done wrong
