checkout/buynow not working for new user (1.6.15)

    HI

    For buynow, it used to need registration.

    now in 1.6.15, non-registered/guest user seems can use buyNow ( with create User) , that is a great feature.

    However it seems not working.

    (1) for total new user, after I click the button ( create user), and click proceed to paypal, it stuck there.

    (2) for pre-registered user using the same email,

    without click the button , it said, it need to create user.

    if I click the create user button, it said it can not create user ( I guess user already created).

    If I login first, then the buynow works.

    Could you please check what is wrong?

    Thank You for your queries.

    1. Is there any console or network error while proceeding through Paypal ? This seems to work normally on our side. Creating guest user and purchasing a course is working fine.
    2. If user is preregistered, user should login first in order to buy the course. It seems like create user is required field while checking out with preregistered email while not logging in. We will enhance this and might need to add ‘Already Registered? Login here’ type link while checkout. We will point this out and add on our enhancement list. Thank you for let us know about it.

    I double checked. NO console/network error.

    for guest user : it failed first ( always) , then if you click checkout button again, then click “proceed to paypal” , it works. I tried several times, it behavior like that. I can send you my URL if you like

    Is it possible to have a flag allow_guest_user in the setting to turn on/off this feature?

    Found error, it seems

    Advanced Google reCAPTCHA plugin added some <div > tag for the response

    the response from the server is: <div clas .. > { “result”: …}

    after I disable that plugin, it works.

    But I guess the following could be useful

    (1) allow admin to to disable this guest buynow.

    (2) as you suggested add ‘Already Registered? Login here’ type link while checkout.

    Thank you for the information.

    We will look through Google Recaptcha issue and will fix it. And we have already noted the enhancement related to guest buy now and it will have enable/disable option in coming updates.
