    Hello,

anybody finds checkout/cart style template pretty outdated? I want to change almost everything on it, including translate it to different language (poedit, I know) – but also add some text inside the template.
I searched the net and it seems EDD had a few more cart templates in the past, but I am unable to find them.
Compared to what can be done with wooo or Thrivecart I find this part of EDD as really outdated. The cehckout tamplate (or result that is visible to customers) is also not that clear to customers. It is simply outdated.
I’ve read EDD blogpost about changing php template – but do I really change a visual style with that as well?
I would love to have some kind of drag and drop editor, like Thrive cart or other solutions have. Anyone knows about such possibility?
    Thank you

    Hi @siven111

EDD provides a basic styling to the checkou form so that the site owner and the theme can style it via custom CSS.
The EDD checkout page can be customised via the template file and you can style it anyway you want. Please check this article https://docs.easydigitaldownloads.com/article/279-customizing-the-checkout-cart-template for more information about that process.

There have been EDD store owners who have changed the way the default checkout page looks completely all via the theme files and the available hooks.

A developer who is familiar with EDD should be able to make any needed style/code changes for you to build it the way you want it to.

    Regards
