    I am trying to sort out a website that I have ‘inherited’, though I know very little about Worpress, and even less about Woocommerce – though I am learning fast!

    I have an issue with the checkout page which shows the Country in a dropdown (shown below) however despite the page showing that the box is a link the box does not display the dropdown list of countries.

    The settings in WooCommerce appear to be set here in the Checkout Form

    with the detail in the Class saying

    form-row-wide,address-field,update_totals_on_change

    can anyone tell me how to either make this dropdown work as a dropdown please?

    I have tried creating a new dropdown box (“Select” type) where I defined the countries that we will ship to however this also failed to drop down and all a selection from the defined entries.

    This is how I defined the field

    I have deleted the country field and re-insterted it with and without the Class being defined and the drop down still doesn’t work. I have even tried resetting the checkout page to default in Checkout Field Editor for WooCommerce yet nothing allows this dropdown box to drop down.

    I even deleted Checkout Field Editor for WooCommerce therefore I was using the default WooCommerce checkout page, yet the dropdown still will not drop down.

    Anyone got any suggestions that I could try to make this work again?

    Your site seems to be behind a login page, so I’m not able to see what you’re describing. One possibility that comes to mind is whether you’ve restricted the countries you sell to, possibly limiting it to the UK only.

    You can check and adjust this setting in WooCommerce → Settings → General.

    If that’s the case, simply switch to selling to all countries and the country field will work as expected as expected. The same applies to the shipping field if you’re specifically shipping to certain countries. :?)

    Thanks, the issue has been resolved. It was another plug-in to create a responsive menu that was causing the issue
