“Checkout error” displayed to customer

I’ve noticed a lot of Klarna orders which have stayed in the “pending payment” state. I reviewed my hotjar recordings and observed this after a customer attempted to pay via klarna
I don’t see any mention of errors or exceptions in the klarna payments log file.
