• Hi,

We use your WooCommerce Multistep Checkout plugin on our website biltongboard.com

A problem occurs when logged-in users try to check out. If during the checkout process the account holder selects “ship to a different address,” they are unable to proceed to the next step in the checkout process. Additionally, if the account holder does not select “ship to a different address,” meaning it should ship to the saved billing address, they can proceed to the next step, but when they finally click “place order” an error message pops up stating “Please enter an address to continue.”
This is a major issue because it essentially prevents every account holder from placing an order and checkout.

Any feedback from your support team would be very much appreciated as we have been investigating on the matter for quite some time and keep on failing at finding a solution.

For more info please refer https://biltongboard.com

    Thanks,
    Bennett

Hi, I tested the plugin and seems to working fine. Are you sure you are running the latest version of multi step checkout ?

If yes, please try to deactivate all plugins and try if the problem disappears, if yes enable again the plugin one by one to find the cause of issue.

    Let me know

    Hi,

We are running the latest version of multi step checkout but the issue remains. We have checked our other plugins and have been advised that the problem is with multi step checkout.

The specific problem that we believe is associated with multi step checkout occurs when logged-in users try to check out. When they get to the “Shipping” step, there is a checkbox that says “Ship to a Different Address,” if a logged-in user checks that box, they cannot proceed to the next step of the checkout process which is “Payment Info.”

Again, our website is biltongboard.com if you would like to see the issue first hand.

    Thanks,
    Bennett

Hi, the problem is that the checkbox for shipping to different address is checked by default and this is a feature of your theme because WooCommerce have this checkboux not selected by default.

However, if you unchecked it or add the shipping address you can gpo to next step and place the order.

    Please, check it
    Have a nice day
