• it is possible there is a bug on the checkout page.

when the optional “county” field is empty i get a free shipping charge.
When i input a county the shipping charge refreshes and becomes correct.

i am using woocommerce with wcfm marketplace, everything is up to date.

identical settings in my near identical local site does not have this issue.

@wayneg03 – Based on what you’ve said, I suspect there could be some differences between your live and local sites.
Do you see any plugin, theme, or version differences between the two?

    Thanks for the reply.
reading on some update notes it seems there was an wcfm “vendor address” issue, i have dug up an old backup and will run that specific update and see what happens and report with them.
i guess that may be the culprit.

they are identical in versions, the local version is what i built before i moved to a live server, the version on the live server now is a complete rebuild due to a DB issue, much cleaner and less plugins, otherwise identical.

Having done the wcfm updates it seems everything is still working on the local version.

    With the 3 fields

    State/county
    city
    postcode

on the bugged version only “county” triggers the correct shipping.
on the working version the exact inverse is true, a postcode or town is enough but county has no effect.

I am wondering if maxmind geoloaction could be a part of the problem.
