Checkout hooks are not working when checkout page is created with woo widget

This is expected behavior.

When you use the [woocommerce_checkout] shortcode, it calls the checkout page template directly, which includes all the hooks. However, blocks work in different ways.

That’s not cool. So I need to adapt the custom hooks either blocks or shortcode.

There are different ways to implement custom functionality, with either the classic or block-based checkout.

Moreover, it is worth keeping in mind that, starting with WooCommerce version 8.3 (for new stores): Checkout Block-based experience by default.

adding content to the checkout block will not work with the custom action hooks, but you can add your content as Paragraph/Image/Separator inner blocks to the checkout page.

If you want to add a custom input field to the checkout block, you can check out the SilkyPress Input Field Block plugin.

This approach still lacks the flexibility of the custom hooks from the shortcode checkout, but it might help you get a bit closer to your goal.
