  • Hey there, @danieldumitruavram! Thanks for contacting us. I’m happy to help you.

I was able to see the issue on your website, but I couldn’t replicate on mine.

    Are you using version 8.6.1?
I am and tried with both the new and legacy checkout, but the fields remained the same.

Do you have any custom code on your website?
What about plugins that affect the checkout page?

Can you please try switching to the Storefront theme to check if the issue persists?

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Have a wonderful day!

    Hi, thanks for your support!

I’m using version 8.6.1. I tried to downgrade but 8.6.0 is no longer available for download. Do you have a copy of that?

I have enabled the legacy checkout experience and now the fields are normal. No custom css added that can affect the checkout fields.

I don’t think it conflicts with another plugin. I didn’t add any new plugins.

It is a live website and I can not switch themes.

You can find older versions to download here.

If you prefer, you can also use a plugin such as WP Rollback to help you with this process. You can find the plugin here.

I suggest using a staging site to check this, this way it won’t affect your live site ??

You can ask your host if they offer this service, or you can use WP Staging for quickly spinning up a new test site.

Please let us know how it goes.

    Have a wonderful day!

No worries. I have changed the plugin with Payment Plugins for Stripe WooCommerce. Thanks anyway

    Hi @danieldumitruavram,

Similar to my colleague, I tried this but I wasn’t able to replicate the issue:

Probably something is/was interfering with your setup; maybe a third-party plugin or the theme you were using may have overridden the checkout template in any way.

I’m happy you’ve already solved it by switching to another plugin. Just for general knowledge, in case you may be interested in testing with our plugin again or other users face the same issue, we could troubleshoot this by finding a conflict with third-party plugins or themes.

We can also rely on customizing the Stripe Checkout form by following this guide: https://woocommerce.com/document/stripe/customization/style-payment-form/.

    Cheers!
