Checkout issues…spinning wheel of death!

Ok this has been a nightmare to sort out. My theme support are plain awful, ‘Dont buy the Sommerce theme’ 16 days and counting with a unhelpful response once a day.
Currently I have what seems a common issue, but no resolution to fix it.
Problem: Checkout page on both payment types have different issue. Via paypal customers can pay but get an error message during the checkout.
Via balance transfer they just get the endless spinning wheel…

System info: 3.8 wp, 2.0.2 woo…everything is up to date.

Actions: Disabled all plugins, no fix
Changed theme to twenty twelve fixed!
Theme support insist its a woocommerce issue despite the above!

I’m lost and suffering due to the fact my site doesn’t work during a Sale period… customers keep contacting me worried orders are unsend or broken.
Any help would be gratefully received.
