    Hi @octobertwo,

Regarding the query, for https//, could you please let us know whether you have added https:// in the email template while adding the merge tag? If yes, then please remove it and check whether the Checkout link and Cart link is receiving properly or not. We are sending the URL with https:// or with https:// based on the SSL settings.

Please check and let us know the result.

<p>I’ve deleted your offer to login to your user’s site. I’m am 100% sure you mean well but please never ask for credentials on these forums.</p>
    <p>https://www.ads-software.com/support/guidelines/#the-bad-stuff</p>
<p>Also, please read this article on the nuances of such a request.</p>
<p>Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.</p>
<p>If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.</p>
<p>Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us escalating this to the plugins team.</p>
<p>It’s never necessary to do that. Here’s why.</p>
<p>There are many ways to get information you need and accessing the user’s site is not one of them. That’s going too far.</p>

    <p>You get the idea.</p>
<p>Volunteer support is not easy. But these forums need to a safe place for all users, experienced or new. Accessing their system that way is a short cut that will get you into real trouble in these forums.</p>

Thank you very much for your response. However, I’m not sure I understand. In the email template, I’m only using your {{cart.link}} merge tag.

For reference, here’s the code I have in the email template for the checkout button:

    <p style="margin-top: 40px; margin-bottom: 40px;"><a style="display: block; font-family: Century Gothic, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; color: #ffffff; line-height: 20px; text-decoration: none; text-align: center; background-color: #c80a0a; margin: 0 auto; width: 270px; box-sizing: border-box; border-radius: 4px; padding: 10px 10px 10px 10px;" href="{{cart.link}}">PROCEED TO CHECKOUT</a></p>

Again, thank you very much in advance for your kind assistance! ??

    Hi @octobertwo,

Sorry for the delay in response.

Thank you for sharing the email template code.

I have tried by adding the same email template code on our staging site and the cart link in the reminder email goes to the Cart page and it is working fine for us.

So, to troubleshoot the issue, could you please share your query by emailing us on “support at tychesoftwares dot freshdesk dot com” so that we can check and assist you in a better way.

    I have the same problem.

I am using a plain text email with the following code:

<p>Hey {{customer.firstname}}!</p><p>This is Ethan from 6med. How's it going?</p><p>I saw you added some of our awesome products to your cart but didn't put the order through. Was there anything you needed help with at all?</p><p>If you need any help, please let me know and I'd love to give you a hand! Just send me an email or talk to me on LiveChat.</p><p>In case you'd just forgotten (we're all human), I saved what you added to your cart. You can <a href="https://{{cart.link}}"><strong>pick up where you left off by clicking here</strong>.</a></p><p>I hope this helps.</p><p>Cheers,</p><p>Ethan.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>P.S.</strong> If cost is a factor for you,?<a href="https://6med.co.uk/bursaries/">we operate a very generous bursary scheme</a> – take a look and don’t let money be the thing that holds you back!</p>

The {{cart.link}} just doesn’t add the “:” after HTTPS and before // when clicked, resulting in a dead link.

How do I sort this out?

    Hi @demisedd,

Thank you for sharing the template code with us.

Regarding the query, can you please remove the https:// before the {{cart.link}} merge tag in the line:pick up where you left off by clicking here. and then check whether it is working fine or not.

If it is still not working, then could you please share your query by emailing us on “support at tychesoftwares dot freshdesk dot com” so that we can check and assist you in a better way.
