I used this plugin back when it was ‘Checkout Manager’ and it worked great. At some point last fall our site had an issue, and once that issue was fixed this plugin created a second option under Woocommerce – Checkout Field Editor. When I disable and remove the plugin I still have ‘Checkout Manager’ as an option under my WooCommerce.

The problem I’m having is that when I install the plugin the options don’t work. I’m pretty sure I need to remove the Checkout Manager add on that was left behind by the plugin before the Checkout Field Editor will work.

My question is, how do I reset Woocommerce back to default (without impacting products) so that I can remove the old plugin data and install and use the new Checkout Field Editor plugin?

    Thanks!

Could you please confirm whether both the “Checkout Manager” and “Checkout Field Editor” plugins are listed on the Plugins page of your WordPress dashboard?

    Thank you!

Currently neither of those plugins exist on the website as I removed the Checkout Field Editor plugin for the sake of troubleshooting the issue. Neither plugin is in the plugin folder on the server either. In spite of that, when I mouse over the ‘Woocommerce’ Menu item I see ‘Checkout Manager’ as an option. The edits I make inside of the Checkout Manager don’t stick, which is why I’d like to remove it of course and replace it with the newer version.

Does the plugin add files inside a theme folder somewhere? I’ve copied over my Woocommerce install.

    Thanks!

Your issue needs a detailed check. Can you please raise a ticket through our website? We hope our technical team will be able to help you.

Further, our plugin does not add any files inside the theme folder. All files related to the plugin are kept separate and do not interfere with your theme’s directory.

    Thank you!

I figured it out. The theme I’m using – core theme Avanam – uses their plugin: TemplateMela Core – Plugin for the TemplateMela Theme. Inside of that plugin they’ve added a light version of the checkout manager, and labeled it ‘checkout manager’ in the sidebar. When I try to use the new version of your plugin it causes a conflict with the built in checkout manager in the theme plugin. It looks like I need to change the theme unless if there’s a way for your plugin to overwrite it. I suppose I could delete that part of the theme, but it would come back every update. Thanks for your help!
