Checkout Missing Submit and Terms Agreement

    Our checkout suddenly stopped showing the Terms of Sale checkbox and the Submit button. All else is okay.

    Here is what I did and it didn’t work.

    Disabled plugins
    Theme 2023
    No server errors are thrown.
    Database is optimized.
    Site health:
    You should remove inactive plugins (we’re still testing some).
    utf8mb4 requires a newer client library Performance
    You should use a persistent object cache – it’s in development and this will activate when it goes live.

    I used a backup database and it works with the preferred theme and all plugins — the button and checkbox-message shows up!
    That indicates that it’s in the database somewhere.

    I cannot use the backup database because the products, categories, posts and other data are different.

    If you can point me where to look in the database (I have decades of experience) or what files or hooks or whatever, please let me know where to look.

    Or, is there a way to “reinstall” WooCommerce where it updates the database for only it’s checkout functions?

    Found it. We have a complex Terms and Conditions of Sale that uses jQuery to hide parts. I removed that and it works. I guess we’ll have a simpler one with a link to the complex one.
