Checkout not working
-
Hi! My site was working fine, until one day it didn’t. Whenever an order is entered, the “Checkout” page has two “spinning orbs of death” that will spin and spin and won’t go away. The configuration hasn’t changed, and I’ve been all through the site checking each setting. Does anyone know how to solve this? Thank you!

Hi there!
Thank you for sharing the system status report. Currently, everything appears to be fine in the report.
To assist you further, could you please create a staging site, deactivate all plugins except WooCommerce, and try to place an order to see if you still face the same issue? I suspect there may be a plugin conflict causing the problem.
If, after deactivating all plugins, you still experience the issue, could you please enable Cash on Delivery as a payment method on the staging site and share the staging site link with us? This will allow me to try and replicate the issue directly on your site. Currently, I’m unable to place a test order without a payment method enabled.
Thank you!
Hi Shahzeen!
You suggested I create a “staging site.” I’m not sure how to do that!
I can certainly deactivate all the plugins and try it from there…
There is a feature in WooCommerce to re-initialize all the necessary pages… what would that do?
I really don’t want to deactivate WooCommerce and start over (as I’ve seen other posts suggest) as I really don’t want to put everything back from scratch.
Thank you, again, for your assistance!

Hi there!
You suggested I create a “staging site.” I’m not sure how to do that!
You can use the following plugin to create a staging site https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-staging/. however, If you do not want to create the staging site you can follow all the steps mention above on your live site. let me know if you still face the same issue with cash on delivery payment method.
If any of these pages were accidentally deleted or are missing from your site, this tool will recreate them with the correct WooCommerce shortcodes and default content. It helps ensure that the essential pages required for your store to function are in place.

You do not need to deactivate the WooCommerce plugin. Just delete all other plugins except WooCommerce and check if you still experience the same issue.
Hi Shahzeen!
Whenever I try going to the “Checkout” Page, I get the “spinning disks of doom.”
I have tried all the steps: Deactivating all plugins except WooCommerce (problem persists), trying different Payment Gateways, going into WooCommerce Status checking for errors, and have even posted the status report previously. I was told that there was NOTHING in the status report that was unusual or atypical, and if I needed additional help to re-post the problem.
I do not see a “Cash on Delivery” Payment option.

Dear Support Moderator:
I did NOT “offer, enter, or send site credentials on these forums.” I said to contact me directly if they were needed. If this differs from YOUR (or the Forum’s) definition of the aforementioned, then I apologize.
However, in order to obtain the necessary help, creating a staging site is what was suggested.
Please advise HOW it is I can receive help otherwise.
Thank you.
Thank you. I will try to figure it out on my own.
Hello gagilbert13,
Thank you for your reply.
I appreciate your clarification regarding the forum guidelines.
It is good to know that you have created a staging site.
To troubleshoot further, I recommend performing the Conflict Test on your staging site.
This will clarify whether the problem persists in the default environment.Looking forward to your response. ??
