    Hi there,
Unfortunately the checkout buttons aren’t working for guest user who are not logged in on the product sites. PayPal button just opens a new tab which is closing automatically and clicking on Debit – Creditcard button don’t do anything at all. If the user is logged in, it works well. How can this be?

The express checkout should work especially for guest users to save time.

    Thanks for your reply!

    Hi there,

When I check your site and click on the PayPal option on the cart page, I do see the PayPal window opening up properly: https://d.pr/i/C6EAr1

And this is what happens when I am clicking on the Debit or Credit card: https://d.pr/i/iWmSnF

I tried these steps as a guest on your site and it seems to be working on my end. Did you manage to resolve the issue or does it still persist? If it still happens, could you please let us know what steps you are taking on the site to trigger the issue e.g. are you trying to do a checkout from the cart or checkout page or so? Thanks!

Thanks for your reply. Yes, the buttons are working out directly on the cart page, but not on the product pages. E.g.: https://intishop.at/shop/schmuck/ringe/tuerkisring-alpacasilber/. You can pick any product you want.

This is how it looks like, if I’m logged in as user or admin: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Qat5J8L0AmY7nrf11vdQqqO0WMfA7DRL/view

And this is how it looks like, if I’m not logged in as a user:
    shorturl.at/jEJV2

In first variant a login screen pop-ups after clicking on the Paypal button, where i can login. After clicking on the Debit- or Creditcard button it is loading quite long, but at least showing me the creditcard form after a few seconds.

In the 2nd variant, it just opens a new window and close it immediately again, where I can’t login. Clicking on Debit- or Creditcard button is doing nothing at all.

    Greetings,
    Arsen

    The Mother of Code

    Hi there!

Thanks for letting us know these additional details. I would like to rule out that this is not a code conflict.
    ?
The best way to determine this is to:

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Repeat the action that is causing the problem

This is best done on a staging site. That’s a copy of your live site, so you can test things out without making changes to your actual site. Some hosting companies offer a staging site service within their hosting plans. If yours does not, there is a great free plugin that will allow you to build a complete staging site with a few button clicks: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-staging.

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.`
