Checkout page

  • Hi,

    I am looking at my checkout page and I have the following fields:

    Username *
    Password *
    Confirm Password *
    First Name
    Last Name
    Company Name
    Rep Number/Name
    E-mail Address *
    Confirm E-mail Address *

    Now notice the First Name, Last Name, Company Name and Rep Number/Name have not got at asterisk * next to the field.

    Do you know how I can add this? As it won’t allow the user to register without these fields.

    Also… I’d like to remove Company Name completely and change the “Rep Number/Name” to “Recommended by” and leave it optional to keep the field blank.

    I trust you can help and your forums are great! I also downloaded the “Registration Helper” plugin to try and resolve it, but I’ve no idea how to use it…

    I’m not good at coding, although have limited knowledge of how it works so could locate the relevant files in the editor to change if you direct me (I sense this is the way forward).

  • I as well would like to add some fields to my checkout page. I also installed the Registration Helper” plugin, but don’t have any idea on how to use it. Why is this so difficult to understand? Please help?

    I would also like to do this, I have the fields on my checkout page but I want them on my account info page. How would I do this?

    Hello??? Can you please tell me how to add custom fields to the registration/membership form?

    At this time the Register Helper plugin is meant to be used by developers to add fields to checkout. Sorry it isn’t easier.

    Not sure why your asterisks are off. Are you using an older version of the plugin?

    If you add fields with register helper, be sure to set “required”=>true and “showrequired”=>true in the options so *’s are also added for those fields.
