    Hello team,

    Why is part of the text not translated in WooCommerce?

    I have used the Loco Translate Plugin to translate my theme and all the necessary plugins.
    The problem is that when the user reaches the Checkout page, there are parts that are displayed in English, despite having translated these text strings in Loco Translate.

    The strings that are not translated are the following:

    1 – Direct bank transfer
    Make your payment directly into our bank account. Please use your Order ID as the payment reference. Your order will not be shipped until the funds have cleared in our account

    2 – Cash on delivery
    Pay with cash upon delivery.

    I am using a plugin for cart and checkout called “XT Floating Cart for WooCommerce Pro” but everything is translated into German there, except the above mentioned text.

    any hints how to show the translation on the page please?

    I understand that you are using the third-party plugin Loco Translate to translate some text strings on your site’s checkout page, however, these are not displaying as expected, correct?

    WooCommerce is already translated into a few languages and does come translation-ready out of the box. All that’s needed is a?translation file for your language. Furthermore, there are several methods to create a translation, most of which are outlined in the WordPress Codex.

    In your case that you are using a third-party plugin that we don’t provide support for based on our Support Policy, I recommend that you reach out to the developers of the plugin for further assistance. They will be better equipped to help you resolve any issues you’re experiencing with the plugin.

    THe issue is that everything is being translated, except the payment gateways text which is pulled from woocommerce (where you choosing what tipe of payment you want to proceed with):

    “1 – Direct bank transfer

    Pay with cash upon delivery.”

    So, in Loco translator -> woocommerce – I could find the strings, and yes, they are translated of course, but it doesnt appear on the frontend… That is the problem. ??

    Any thoughts how to fix it please?

    As mentioned above, this is a third-party plugin that we don’t provide support for based on our Support Policy, hence, I recommend that you reach out to the developers of the plugin or post to the proper forum thread for further assistance. They will be better equipped to help you resolve any issues you’re experiencing with their plugin.

    They simply do not provide support for this kind of problems since its not in their competence, kindly check the second half of their support page regarding this issue:

    Hello @chorche505,

    Have you tried looking for these strings in the files of the mentioned plugin you using for the checkout page or even the theme files?

    Sure I did, I didn’t found the strings I want to translate elsewhere, only under Woocommerce… the strings are translated there (in Loco) but it doesnt show on the frontend… ??

    As I mentioned earlier, troubleshooting third-party integrations is not within our scope of support.
