Checkout Page Radio Button

Hi @maurotee,

On the checkout page when customers flag the radio button on the COD option it seems to works but does not apply the input value ( extra fees )
otherwise when they click over the “label name” it works.

Looking at your checkout page, I did not see any input field for extra fees.

However, if you’re facing an issue with such a field, I would recommend reaching out to the authors of the plugin you’re using to add this for further checks.

thanks for your reply.
I used a bad description =(. it does not have any input label but just an input action.

Did you try to click over the text “cash on delivery”?
Cause the radio button, it is working in 2 ways ( unfortunately )

1) click on the radio button ( with no extra fees )
2) click on the label ( adding extra fees )

The extra cost and COD works if you make an order of over 50 euro.

Any other help will be very appreciated.

Thanks for the clarification, now I can see the issue!

I clicked on the “Cash on Delivery” text and then an additional fee for Cash on delivery was added to the order summary.

I believe you’re using some type of a plugin that adds fees based on payment method. You’ll want to get in touch with the plugin author to check why clicking the radio button does not trigger the fee.

I suppose it depends on the theme issue or woocommerce issue.
Cause the same error to appear also on the PAYPAL text above.

I will wait for other suggestions, maybe someone else is having the same.

Thanks for the status report. I’m not seeing a clear plugin that is adding fees based on payment method, but it could still be there under a different name.

I would next suggest a full conflict test to rule out any issues with your theme or other plugins.

Basically, we use the advanced cash on the delivery plugin. We bought a licence on Woocommerce Official Website.

I think it is a conflict not between plugin and theme, but only on the theme Hyperon.

Do you have any suggestions? it could be helpful also a custom code to change the radio+text button in Classic Button.

I believe you were referring to the Advanced Cash on Delivery with Fee extension. If you have an active license of it, feel free to create a ticket so that we can help you further to investigate the problems regarding this extension.

If the problem is happening only with the Hyperon theme, I’ll recommend getting in touch with the theme developers to know the correct way to solve this.

Unfortunately, I do not have a custom code to change the radio+text button to a classic button.

Since this is a theme-specific problem, I’m going to close this thread for now.
