    Hi there,

All plugins/theme/wordpress are up to date as of today’s date.

The Checkout Manager is stating that the Address 2 field, which is ticked as not required(I’ve checked twice that it is unticked as a required field). It doesn’t have an asterix next to it, but the system thinks it’s a required field.

When I disable the Checkout Manager plugin, the problem does not occur.

Please advise. I use one other shipping plugin; Woocommerce Distance Rate Shipping.

I think I will have to disable Checkout Manager Plugin for now, because no e-commerce can take as it is.

    Many thanks

    Cathy

  • For what it’s worth, I also had an issue with a warning about the Address 2 field being required on a fresh install of WCCM v 4.0.7.

For me, two things solved it:
    ONE
    On the Billing Tab
Making sure I had a label for it (*it was initially blank in my install)
    Save Changes
Making sure the “Required” was deselected
    Save Changes
    On the Shipping Tab
Repeat same process as the Billing Tab
    TWO
    deactivate, reactivate, run the updater.

Are you using the Upload file feature, and if so, is it working?

Hi cathyrowson, thanks for raising this. Checkout Manager uses a handler for each Field Type so it’s likely the Field Type you’re using for Address 2 is not working as expected and needs to be fixed. Is this a default WooCommerce Billing field or a custom field? What Field Type is it?

I can see there’s an issue with the Required state not being saved on new custom fields, you have to go in and save it again as rvoelker mentioned which I hope to have fixed in the next minor Plugin update.

    Hi Michael

    Thank you for your response.

It’s a default WooCommerce Billing field. I’ve added a label to the field and all is working well.

Thank you so much both of you.

Will you be adding the date picker blank out option at some point in the future by the way? It’s what I used with the pro version to grey out Sundays and myself and client would be really happy if it returned. Client would pay for this.

    Kind regards

    Cathy

    Hi Michael,
I have the same issue. I have changed the label of the Address field to Street1. Than I get Street1 is mandatory. The default street field is shown.
I have Street, number, street2 in the form, this does not seem to come from the plugin.

When I put Street1 as optional, the problem goes away.
It seems the default fields in Woocommerce are not mapped to the fields in the plugin.

Just noticed, your fields are added as Adres 1 and Adres 2 in the user address (Dutch WooCommerce). However the fields that are filled in at the user interface are Street, Nummer (Number) and Toev (Addtional address field).
