Checkout page view is confusing to customer
-
I see that the plugin is working and displaying a note at the bottom of the page at checkout. When the customer scrolls all the way down they will see it. However, this is confusing. I was hoping that only allowing orders to select zip codes would have removed all the entry fields on the page so that it doesn’t APPEAR as if the customer can order. Why present fields to fill out regarding entering the credit card, if you can’t order? On the previous cart page, instead of saying there are no shipping methods available and providing the “calculate shipping” link, it would be great if there was a zip code entry field there and when a person enters a zip code that isn’t being sold to, then it doesn’t make sense to even send them to the checkout page. It would be great if the “we don’t sell to your zip code” message displayed on the cart page instead and there was no “proceed to checkout” button. The way everything is displayed to the customer right now is very confusing. Have I missed something in setting this up? Thank you.
