checkout working for admin but not for subscribers

This kind of problem is usually caused by a conflict with your theme or with another plugin. The best way to determine this is to:

• Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
• Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce and Stripe
• Test to see if the issue has been resolved

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. but if it is a conflict then how come its working when admin is logged in?

It could be due to a cache plugin, or a membership plugin you are using, which might be adding some scripts for non-logged-in users.

Can you please try to perform conflict testing, as suggested by my colleague earlier, and see if it helps?

A misbehaving plugin can cause unexpected issues on other plugins. So, when something isn’t working as it should, the first step for troubleshooting is usually the conflict test. To perform tests without affecting your live site, you can use a staging site (your host might have that feature, but you can create it with WP Staging as an alternative).

Since the checkout is working when logged as an admin, but it is not working when logged as a subscriber, this issue could be related to the subscription feature from the membership plugins you are using.

If you want to be sure what is causing the issue and if the checkout page is working correctly, you could do the following;

• 1. Create a staging site using the WP Staging plugin to make tests without affecting your live site.
• 2. In your staging site, disable both subscription plugins (Indeed Ultimate Membership Pro and Subscriptions For WooCommerce PRO), go to the checkout page, and check if the issue persists.

If that help to solve it, the issue is related to one of those plugins.

• 3. If it continues, switch your theme back to Storefront, disabling all plugins except WooCommerce and Stripe, and then check again.

If that solves it, reactivate the theme first and check again. Then, reactivate your other plugins, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict.
