    Is is possible to only show a parent category with just one child category?

    Example: 

    [downloads category="agendas" category_include_children="2023"] (if so, this doesn't work so what would be the right shortcode?)

So it hides the 2022 and 2021 child categories?

Or should I have used tags instead for the years, and not child categories?

    Thanks for reaching out!

    The category_include_children argument only accepts ‘false’ or ‘true’. You cannot select a subcategory to display. You can do that using tags. For example: [downloads category=”category here” tag=”tag here”]
