• ok, so here’s what i need to do

    i have pages like this

    About
    __teachers
    __studio
    __workshops

I want all 3 child pages content to not be seperate PAGES, but to all live on the About Page and then the links in the sidebar will show the parent and children. The children links will anchor to where that conent lives on the about page.

Whats the best way to do this w/ out hard coding the links into the template?

Also Id like these to be PAGES, not blog posts – as mixing the 2 gets really confusing for clients.

  • How are they supposed to be pages and not be separate pages at the same time? Are you talking about a singe page with 3 sections? Create your About page and then use the section headings as anchor links. The easiest way to deal with the navigation is probably to create your own html links in a text widget instead of coding it into the sidebar.php file.

I don’t want the children to be on the same page but rather separate pages. My problem is that when I move my mouse of the child pages under the footer name, the children disappear when I try to click on one of them. I am running latest version of WP. So, how do I get the children under the parent to mind me when I click on them and not hide from me?

The parent works but the children do not. Is there a fix for this that is easy for a techno idiot as myself?
