Child Page Redirect Loop

I’m not sure if this is a WordPress 4.0 issue or something caused by the Redirection plugin.

I had the redirection plugin installed and the following process caused a child page to get stuck in a redirect loop:

• Redirection plugin installed and monitoring modified posts.
• Changed an existing page, /links, to be a child of another page
• Load page /resources/links and it loads as /resources/resources/resources/recurring/links.
• Remove parent page from links and everything is fine
• Tried completely uninstalling redirection (using delete on options page)
• Checked .htaccess file

Even with redirection completely uninstalled any page I now make a child page gets stuck in redirect loop.

I’m wondering if there is something that has been left behind in the database (although I check and redirection tables were removed). Or is this a WordPress 4.0 bug?
