I hate to double post, but my original post (LINK) has been closed to new replies and is still unresolved.
When a user assigned to a specific group edits a page where the parent is inaccessible to the user, the hierarchy is removed and messes up relative links.
IE: Page structure: Home >> Page1 >> Page2
Page 2 is a child of Page1.
User1 has access to edit Page2, but not Page1
When User1 updates Page2, the page structure changes from
Home/Page1/Page2 to Home/Page2. Any links that point to the original URL get broken.
