• We are using relevanssi as our search solution, and right now the parent pages are the only results at the top of the page. We have a page with the title “mammogram” that is a child page of radiology, but it does not appear in search results, but radiology does.

How do I get more relevant child pages to appear in the search?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Relevanssi doesn’t care whether a page is a parent or a child page; it should handle all pages the same. Your search results template is highly customized, so that’s probably why the child pages are not appearing.

If you do the same search on Relevanssi admin search (Dashboard > Admin search), does that find you the Mammogram page? That’s one way to check that Relevanssi is working correctly. If you can find the Mammogram page with the Relevanssi admin search, then it’s your theme that’s limiting the search. If you can’t find the Mammogram post with the admin search, then there’s a Relevanssi problem.
