Child Theme

    Hello, I’m quite new here, and try to work with a Child Theme.
    I created a new directory with style.css and functions.php with only the most necessary information: @import style.css and rtl.css in style.css, and add a favicon in functions.php.
    As a result the page layout turned my menu items show up from right to left, and the left side bar moved to the right.
    I re-saved my menu and theme options.
    What went wrong here?

  • If I was to guess it would probably be something to do with the functions.php file. Delete that file and things will go back to normal.

    Hi Bob, I deleted functions.php, with no effect.

    Experimenting a bit, it seemed to have to do with importing rtl.css (which I don’t use). I changed it and got it working.
