    Hi! I need to translate a lot of the php text displayed on the site (author info, translated comment box, etc.)
    I did it before, but I think a theme update replaced it with the original theme’s English. I’m guessing a child theme is the solution?

    BUT, I’m struggling my butt of to create one. Any help?

    For the translation of the string, you don’t need child theme. You can easily translate the string from here. https://translate.www.ads-software.com/projects/wp-themes/opus-blog/
    Select your language and start the translation. Your site text will automatically translated to this text. Let us know after you made the translaton, we will request for the approval of translation after checking it.

    We will make a child theme and provide you the download link soon.
