I’m really enjoying this theme (thanks for the great work!) and have done a bit of customizing to the free version. I plan to upgrade to the two-column layout and I’m wondering if my child theme will still work or if there are any issues to consider?

    Thanks,

    Gregg

    Hey Gregg,

    Thanks for considering the upgrade!

There probably won’t be any issues, but I can take a look for you.

If you’ve only added a style.css file to your child theme, then you can link to your site here, and I’ll check it out. Otherwise, email me your child theme at support AT competethemes.com, so I can look through the other files too and make sure things are good to go.

    Hey Ben,

Much appreciated… Here’s a link to my site:

I’ve only modified style.css so far.

    Gregg,

Nice job on the customizations ??

I looked through the stylesheet and didn’t see anything that should cause an issue. Your customizations should carry over just fine.

Excellent! So one more question… I just purchased the two-column upgrade and I entered the license key and selected “activate”.

But… I don’t see the two-column layout as an option in the customizer yet. Does it take a little time to kick in? Or did I do something wrong?

Thanks for the help and regards,

    Gregg

    Gregg,

Sorry about that, just got back to your email, should be working now.
