child theme blues

  • I’m going to integrate a child theme in my wordpress blog.
    I have read that there are more layout settings are built in wordpress in the future.
    This means that there is less layout setting set in themes and child themes or remains unchanged in the future?
    Are settings in child themes superfluous / rewritten?
