    Hello,

Im trying to change parts of a popup with some custom css in my childthemes stylesheet, but nothing works. I tried #popmake-# .pum-theme-# and .theme-# but non work.
When I add it to my parent stylesheet everything works without issue, but it would be a bit cumbersome to constantly add it to after updating the parent theme.

Is there a way to get my custom css to load properly using my childthemes stylesheet?

Have you tried going to Popup Maker > Settings in the WordPress Admin and clicking the Assets tab?

From there, check the box “Check this if you have copied the popup theme styles to your own stylesheet or are using custom styles.”

Let us know if that helps.

I’ve tried the option and some styling (probably styling that I havent specified) goes missing but the childthemes stylesheet is still ignored. Styling in the parent stylesheet are being used without issue though.

Thanks for the details, sorry it’s not working as intended.

I’ll have our Lead Dev @danieliser take a look as soon as possible. Thank you for being patient.

@yardco – This would really be a question for your theme’s author. There are several things that can be set up incorrectly in themes that make child themes not use their styles properly, some themes don’t actually use the styles.css sheets, or there could simply be a CSS error before or in the styles your adding. If you move them to the top of the styles.css file does that make them work? If so then there is an issue in the CSS styles in that file somewhere.

    Hope that helps.

Moving classes and or id’s to the top of the child theme’s stylesheet does not work either. All other css attributes work without issue except when i want to target the popups.

My theme comes with a “custom css box” though which isn’t remove when updating the theme. Placing the css attributes in this box works so I’ll just go with this solution for now.
