child theme – custom mh-widgets.php

    When creating child theme for MH Magazine lite 1.5.7 with customized mh-magazine-lite-child/includes/mh-widgets.php file, this new file is not working. Other customizations (style.css, content.php, etc.) are working OK. Is there any way, how to correct this?

    Hi paiadin,

    please add your custom functions directly to the functions.php of the child theme, that should work without issues.

    If you are splitting your child theme functions over several files, please make sure, that you include these files properly in your functions.php file.
