Child theme errors

  • I have just installed this theme on a new website and when I create a child theme using the popular Child Theme Configurator plugin I see errors in the front and backend, which make it unusable.

    I hope you can help solve this problem. Thank you.

    This is the error:

    Could you tell me what are the settings you used when creating the child theme using Child Theme Configurator plugin?
    I need to replicate it on my side.
    Also is there any change you have made in both the parent theme and child theme?

    Also is there any change you have made in both the parent theme and child theme.

    No changes at all. I installed WP, immediately installed your theme, then immediately tried to create the child theme.

    Because of the errors I was forced to abandon creating the child theme and have continued my work without one.

    hi @seasoned i follow exactly what on those videos, but i cannot replicate your issue. can you give us more information about version of gutenverse being used, version of themes you currently use, and version of PHP you currently use? and where are you get those error?

    you can find those information on your admin panel gutenverse > system status.

    and also please send your child themes file to us so we can replicate your issue on our side.

    we cannot find the issue with your setting, btw if you don’t want to send us the child themes, you can use this one that i generate from the plugin also. we don’t have any problem when using this child themes.

    Thank you for looking at this issue.

    Because the error happened just minutes after installing a fresh WordPress site I decided to wipe the whole site and start again from scratch installing WP and the Zeever theme again, so I do not have the child theme files anymore.

    As we were unable to find a solution to the issue I will not mark this as resolved.

    I expect I will soon get another opportunity to create a child theme for Zeever, and when I do I will come back and report how it goes.
