Child Theme for Twenty Twelve: Media Queries

Perhaps you’re not using specific-enough selectors.

I thought it might be that, but I’ve been trying really drastic things like
“* {background-color: black;}” just to see if it might do something.. and nothing happens. I have no idea what could be wrong- does the media query have to be very specific for it to work?

Are you resizing the browser, to test the query?

Yes; I also tried to view it on my phone. No go on either version

You should also keep in mind that Twenty Twelve is mobile-first which means the @media queries are reversed. Styles not wrapped in @media queries are the mobile styles.

I have the same issue, https://www.chai-kabob.com last line in my child theme stylesheet is getting ignored https://chai-kabob.com/wp-content/themes/twentytwelve-child/style.css?ver=3.5
