Child Theme Info Not Being Recognized

  • After upgrading to WP 4.2.4 the majority of my design work reverted from my Child Theme to the parent. The Child Theme pages remain unchanged, yet I’ve lost information on my home page (as an example.) I put so much time into creating this and using a Child Theme to avoid this from happening, any suggestions are welcome.

    I deactivated all of my Plugins to see if any were the culprit and it made no change/improvement.
