Could someone please explain the necessary updates for child theme users? I updated to the latest version and everything looks fine, except the width of the body of my site is longer. The header and footer are the original width.

    This is my site: https://ericsilva.me/

    What could be the issue?

    Thanks in advance!

  • Hi Eric. Welcome to the Hueman forum.

You can read the main version release notes here:
    https://presscustomizr.com/category/hueman-releases/

Interim version release notes are here:

Depending on how extensive your child theme modifications are you may need to update some of your css selector names and function names. Also, as indicated in the release notes, there have been changes to the theme files. If you have modified theme files in your child theme the best approach is to make a note of your modifications, copy the new version of the files to your child theme, then reapply your changes. This way you’ll ensure that the changes in the new version object names and paths are up-to-date in your child theme.

except the width of the body of my site is longer.

Not sure what you mean by that. Your site is using the Boxed layout which would make the header, content and footer areas all the same width.

That was the issue. I hadn’t updated my existing child theme files yet. Once I did that the width of my columns was fixed. Thanks.
