child theme necassairy?

    Hi there,

    What happens with customized or changed css (done with the help of “SiteOrigin CSS” plugin) if the theme is getting an update? Is it necessary to create a child theme to make these amendments safe?

    Thanks for getting in touch.

    Your Custom CSS rules are saved in the database. Using a child theme to keep SiteOrigin CSS changes safe during theme updates isn’t necessary.
