Child Theme Not Importing Parent Theme Style

I created a child theme for twentyfourteen and it worked properly until I tried to make some overrides. Even now that I have removed the changes, removed the entire child theme, and recreated it, it is still not importing the style from the parent theme.

When I activate the child theme (which I’m not currently doing because it is so ugly) it looks like this: https://postimg.org/image/maatzka0z/
