Child theme not overriding

    I have successfully made a child theme to the twenty eleven theme. But I used the import rule to load the default stylesheet and added a few modifications below that. But I noticed that some of the rules are being loaded twice, my modification, and then the original rule from the parent. This is causing my modifications to not be loaded since the cascade overwrites them.

    Any tips?

    Are you adding your styles after the @import ?

    ya i fixed it actually it was because the attribute is was adding to the rule needed to be the last thing in that rule (if that makes sense?)
