Child Theme or not?

    Hi,

    I’m considering migrating my Genesis site over to GP. I’ve been reading the docs and lurking in forms to learn more.

    The question I have is, if we do not use a childe theme, what happens when GP is updated? Wouldn’t we lose any customizations we added?

    Hi there,

    You don’t need a child theme if you are not going to modify the theme’s PHP template files.
