    Hi,

My doubt is the following: I made a change in the translation of a plugin through Loco. Some words were not translated, the Loco plugin did not find them.

I found the words in a file inside an array.

If I translate directly, I know it will work, but if there is a plugin update, I lose the translation.

I know that when any changes are made to the theme, it is usually within the child-theme. And how do you save plugin changes? Is it inside the child-theme, too?

    Thanks for any help.

    kklo

  • No, there are no “plugin childs”. However, some plugins offer hooks via which you can influence the settings or functions of the plugin. If and how this works in your case, I would recommend to clarify with the developer of the plugin in question. He can also tell you why this text is stored in this seemingly unfavorable place and can adjust that after your hint if necessary.

    Hi, @threadi

    Thank you very much.
I think I’ll do the translation directly, support takes too long.
