    Sorry was typing @ 300mph …
was saying anything I am writing in child theme style.css file is completely ignored

I am also having the same problem. I installed the plugin, activated it, and it apparently made some changes but none of the changes I made in the parent theme are present any more. It does not appear that the parent’s theme settings have been imported.
I hope somebody resolves these issues soon or we will be forced to give bad reviews.

Same here. Disappointing… all setup nice and easy… CSS file is now useless. Not being recognized in the browser at all… even though it is loaded in the right location, and the Appearance/Orbusuis Theme Editor pages shows the CSS file with edits… but the browser ignores them.

Has this been ignored by the author for 4 months? WTF?

Hey folks, didn’t you see that WP org are not the official way to get support?

Some themes are not child friendly.
This is the case when they use some WordPress functions that make them point only to their style sheets.

Did you check with the theme author that you’re trying to create a child theme from?
